Sustainable Supply Chain Management Policy
The products and services provided by suppliers not only directly affect the E-BI's products, services and operations, but also indirectly affect the E-BI's intangible reputation or become a potential risk. As an important member of the global electronics manufacturing industry, E-BI always strive for excellence in the field of sustainable supply chain management (Sustainable Supply Chain Management, SSCM) to maintain the overall competitive advantage of E-BI and suppliers. Therefore, the E-BI formulates responsible production and green products as the strategic axis for the implementation of sustainable supply chain management, and supports SDG 8 and 12 as long-term implementation goals.
The Sustainable Supply Chain Management Committee was established under the Sustainable Development Committee of E-BI Technology Enterprises, and on the basis of traditional supply chain management, it followed relevant domestic and foreign laws and regulations, supplemented by the electronic industry benchmark RBA guidelines, etc., to consolidate the sustainable supply chain management structure and formulate E-BI sustainable supply chain management policies. E-BI Science and Technology extends the scope of sustainable supply chain management to ESG issues such as economy and governance, environmental protection and social integration, including labor rights, environmental protection, occupational safety and health, business ethics and management system, etc. as the selection and audit requirements of suppliers, so as to establish risk control projects and identify high-risk suppliers, formulate improvement measures according to the evaluation results and assist suppliers to make continuous progress, expect to improve the effectiveness of sustainable supply chain management and reduce supply chain operational risks, and establish sustainable growth partnerships.
Sustainable supply chain management objective E-BI undertakes to establish a supply chain with sustainable development as the goal. In order to ensure the safety of the working environment of the supply chain, respect and protect the human rights of employees, promote environmental protection in business operations and abide by business ethics, relevant management regulations for suppliers have been formulated, and supplier sustainability risk investigation and audit have been carried out to jointly implement corporate social responsibility and create a sustainable value chain. In addition, in order to lead suppliers towards sustainability and fulfill customers' commitment to responsible production, the E-BI formulates a supplier code of conduct and responsible mineral procurement policy; requires suppliers to sign a management commitment and a clean commitment to ensure that suppliers can meet the E-BI SSCM requirements.
