Identification and communication of stakeholders

E-BI has a wide range of stakeholders. In order to present representative stakeholders, E-BI refers to the five aspects of the AA1000SES Stakeholder Engagement Standard (AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard 2015): dependence, influence, and attention. , responsibilities and multiple perspectives were identified, and finally nine categories of stakeholders were screened out according to their importance. They are: employees, customers, suppliers, (investor) shareholders, governments and competent authorities, non-profit organizations, research institutions, communities, media and other stakeholders, and are supplemented by correlation tests every year to review the responses to the stakeholder questionnaires. , the communication results are reported to the board of directors by the ESG department. In 2024, E-BI will continue to stimulate different results and generate diversified social values with nine types of stakeholders through regular and irregular communication channels. Issues of concern to each stakeholder group are also communicated through the corresponding chapters of this report.

Identification of major themes

The E-BI sustainability report follows the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards (GRI Standards) of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and conducts analysis of material issues based on identification, sorting, confirmation, review and other steps. , to confirm the scope of disclosure in the report and the major sustainable development challenges faced by the company internally and externally, so as to comprehensively review the effectiveness of sustainable operations. The E-BI major theme identification work is divided into one period every three years, and the last execution year of the stakeholder sustainability issue survey is 2024. The annual major issues and stakeholders will be continuously reviewed through the Corporate Sustainability Committee every year and adjusted as appropriate.

Identify

Through the following channels, 22 issues related to sustainable development were summarized and used as the major theme identification areas of the report.

The order of importance of sustainability issues is explained as follows:

  • Evaluate each ESG issue based on two aspects: "the degree of impact the company has on the economy, environment and society" and "the degree of impact on the assessment and decision-making of stakeholders“
